White color, light grey color and grey color medium to thick bedded, medium to coarse grained, foliated marble is occur in Taung Phi Lar mountain, Lewe township. Average is CAO 53.31%, MGO 0.73% and SiO2 1.03% marble and DGSE report P(2) grade and 18.77million mt on June, 2011 (by Win Hike Oo, assistant geologist). Max Myanmar Group produce 2100 ton of marble perday, estimate 2.5million mt of marble have been exposed for their cement factory and 16.23million mt remains.
