It is a monzonite with a porphyritic texture. It has properties intermediate between diorite and syenite. It is a porphyritic rock with orthoclase and plagioclase phenocrysts in microcrystalline stone. It contains less than 2% quartz, and the ratio of alkali feldspar and plagioclase is almost similar or the same. It has the same ratio of constituent minerals as ratite in volcanic rocks.
