Paleontology (Fossil)
These are fossils of floating animals that lived in colonies on Earth from the middle Cambrian period of the Paleozoic Era to the early Carboniferous period. Because it survived only during the Paleozoic Era, it is an important standard fossil that distinguishes this period. They live only in the sea and form colonies in a net-shaped, radial or linear form.
