It is a dark-colored granular pluton, and its chemical composition is the same as that of basalt. It has a dense, dark gray or black color. It contains the highest amount of plagioplain stone and pyroxene. The content of amphibole was higher than that of ordinary gabbro, so it was named amphibole gabbro.
