Locality Description
Silt soil is not sutable soil for construction. It can hold water for a long time and this make the water pressure on the foundation of a building. But silt soil has good nutrient for farming. Keeping of water and good of in to and out of air. Vegetables and fruits need sufficient amount of water. Willow, Brich, Dogwood and Cypress can grow welly in silt soil. Thukatheikkdi quater and Balatheikkdi quaters of Zabuthiri township, buff to yellowish brown color, fine to medium grained silt soil can occur. In Dekkhinathiri townshp, silt soil is also occur in some places.
