Locality Description

In the study area, there are pegmatite vein and schist outcrop. Pegmatite is parallel and cross bedding with Triassic to Cambrian age Banded gneiss, Megmatite and Schist. In pegmatite which is composed of muscovite mica, quartz and feldspar (Zaw Htet 2022), beryl mineral can also see. But the quality of beryl in this area is poor in hardness and low grade for gem quality. Good quality of beryl can be see in Mogok and Moemeik townships, Mandalay division.
