In Mogok group, marble, garnet-sillimanite gneiss, schist and migmatite occur and in Mogok area (Mogok Metamorphic Belt), ruby, sapphire, jade, diamond, orogenic Au, Pb–Zn veins, Cu–Au skarns, Sn–W (vein and skarn), REE can be seen. Mattaya marble is one of the famous marble class in myanmar. Because of it's color, texture and hardness, it is mainly use in hotels, homes and temples as a decorative stone. Mattaya marble is the most uses of building Buddha statue.
