Hornblende-Augite Andesite are medium to dark coloured vesicular volcanic rocks, mostly fine grained with typically porphyric texture (larger crystals in a fine groundmass). The phenocrysts (the larger crystals) comprise plagioclase, pyroxene, biotite and iron-titanium oxides. The groundmass is fine-grained, frequently glassy.

HornbIende-Augite-Andesite, - Like the Tuungbaw type this comes fr om one of the minor fows of the present Mount Pope, and is also found to the north of the crater where the greater part of t he flow was probably destroyed in the final disruption of the mountain , The remnant forms a sma ll hill just to the eas t of the villege of Ngayeagon. A similar rock was observed north of Kanzatkon village.
