"There are still many areas covered by alluvium, which might conceal hidden basins. Miocene to Pleistocene Irrawaddy Group are known from old publications, but they should be revised and checked apinsl material that has been collected from known geological horizons.Alluvium of the Ayeyarwady River is present on the opposite (western) side of the fault, so it provides no meaningful evidence of the western extent of the unit."
