Sedimentary rocks
It refers to sedimentary rocks with calcium carbonate as the main component. They are mainly formed by biological activity and in many cases contain living debris. It consists mainly of red-grained lime heterogeneous deposits and appears to have been deposited in a calm shallow environment rich in oxygen. When hydrochloric acid is sprayed, it reacts violently and bubbles form.
