This refers to metamorphic rock formed through intermediate regional metamorphism. If formed at low temperatures, it contains muscovite, chlorite, and albite. If formed at high temperatures, it contains biotite, kyanite, and garnet. Schistosity is observed. It contains a lot of mica.
