Locality Description
Precambrian age, Mogok group of gneiss, marble, shist rocks are occur in Mandalay division. Thabeikkyin tsp, Mogok tsp, etc. in Mandalay division metamorphic rocks is abundant. Qualitative Myanmar ruby is occur in marble of Mogok Metamorphic Belt. In Nay Pyi Taw area, gneiss occur in Tatkkon tsp and use for decoration in building and road project.
