In Thabeikkyin area one of the mineral occurrence of MMB is Chaunggyi area . Host rock is Gold-sulphide veins found in the gneiss and marble of MMB (Mogok Metamorphic Belt). Geological setting is Mogok Belt (marble, calc-silicateand gneiss), intruded by syenite and granitic rocks and Small-scale mining by local companies. 0.14– 2.72% Cu, 0.5–700 ppm Au tested with X-ray analytical microscope (Tin Aung Myint et al. 2014b)
