"The carbonate-hosted Pb–Zn–Ag deposits and occurrences in the Bawsaing area are hosted by the Middle Ordovician Wunbye Formation, composed of limestone, dolomitized limestone and dolomite, all containing minor amounts of siltstone. Galena occurrences are restricted to the Lower Wunbye Formation while galena, associated with barite mineralization, occurs in the Middle–Upper Wunbye Formation."
