Paleontology (Fossil)
The trilobite Dolerobasilicus yokusensis appears as a cast in the Ordovician Jigunsan Formation, which is dominated by black shale. The body of a trilobite is divided into the head, thorax, and tail. The tip of the head is round and the tip of the tail is pointed. The stratum where the trilobite fossils were found is a Paleozoic era stratum, indicating that it was once an ocean.
