It is a dark-colored granular pluton, and its chemical composition is the same as that of basalt. It has a dense, dark gray or black color. It contains the highest amount of plagioplain stone and pyroxene. It is almost entirely distributed in the oceanic crust, and the companion rocks found on the continents are produced as intrusive rocks in the form of rocks or formed by the uplift of the oceanic crust.
