"A lead and zinc depossit in Wunbye formation is Theingon area, Bawsaing township. Host rock and age is bedded limestone, dolomitic limestone, marl, shale of Middle Ordovician age. Lead, zinc and barite mineralization is not reported in the Permian–Triassic limestones in the Taunggyi area of the Shan Plateau, but a clus ter of zinc replacement deposits are present in these limestones south of Mong Pawn, of which the Longh Keng zinc deposit is the most economically significant. "
