Some facts of Ywangan district is lead mineralization of the Bawsaing district extends northwestwards into the Ywangan district and, further north, is present in the Kyaukse district where barite is mined at Pyittawye. The Ywangan lead district (21° 16′ 20″ N, 96° 25′ E) contains several small Pb–Zn deposits hosted by Wunbye Formation limestones in faulted blocks on the Ywangan Plateau. Small mines are in the Yechanbyin–Dokhtoye area
