"For the sake of convenience in this description, we consider here that the Dolomitic Limestone Unit is equivalent to the combined Thitsipin and Nwabangyi formations, while the Cherty Limestone Unit and the Reefal Limestone Unit constitute the Natteik Formation of Amos (1975). On the other hand, the Dolomitic Limestone Unit can be compared with the Thigaungdaung Limestone of Gramann et al. (1972) based on the principal lithology of dolomite and dolomitic limestone of Permian–Early Triassic age, and the Cherty Limestone Unit with the Kondeik Limestone of Gramann et al."
