"On the Shan Plateau the older units are extensively overlain unconformably by the Permo-Triassic Plateau Limestone, classified into a Dolomitic Limestone Unit (Middle Permian–Early Triassic), Cherty Limestone Unit (Middle–early Late Triassic) and a Reefal Limestone Unit (Middle–early Late Triassic) with ages confirmed by ammonites and coral faunas (Zaw Win et al. 2017). There is Carbonate-hosted Pb–Zn–Ag occurence in Patheingyi (Sakataung) area. Lithology host is Limestones and thin- to medium-bedded dolomites (Wunbye Formation) and the age is Ordovician. Sulphide ore minerals is galena, chalcopyrite."
