According to Dutt (1942), in the Yamethin district tungsten occurs as ferberite (FeWO4) in several deposits. The Sedo Granite is part of Cobbing et al.’s (1992) Yamethin suite of peraluminous, ilmenite-series potassic granites in the Western Granite Province, many of which are tin-bearing. Barley et al.
