Paleontology (Fossil)
It is composed of tortuous foliation. In shallow water, sediment grains are observed trapped by a thin film formed by microorganisms represented by cyanobacteria, revealing a biochemical attachment structure consisting of several fixed layers. As it was discovered that it was created more than 3.5 billion years ago, it represents the oldest record of fossils left behind by life on Earth. This specimen is from the Formation layer and appears to have developed in a lake environment during the Cretaceous period of the Mesozoic Era.
